Learn CAT’S SQUIRREL :: Great Rhythm and a Fiery Solo

For their 1966 debut album, 'Fresh Cream', Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker recorded a fabulous instrumental version of the Dr. Ross tune, 'Cat Squirrel'.  This would be a great one to do with a band.

If you compare this with the version recorded for the BBC, you'll hear that they are slightly different, including the emphasis within the rhythm guitar part.  The riff and the solo should be fiery and aggressive.  You should really dig in!

As usual, make sure you spend plenty of time just listening closely to the record.  Even when playing hard and aggressively, Eric's playing has a great deal of subtlety and shade.
