Welcome to the index of free blues guitar lessons.  At the time of writing the site is quite new, and so far the only tracks available to learn are 'Hideaway', 'Key to Love' and 'N.S.U.'  Please bear with me while I get more ready.

Each track will be broken down into several parts and slowed down so the technique is easy to follow.  The goal is to demonstrate how the tracks can be played in order to get as close as possible to the sounds of the records.

The left- and right-hand techniques, fingering and positions are how I have interpreted what I hear, based on decades of study, going back to the days when the only way to learn this music was to stop and start a vinyl record player.

I will also be making and uploading videos concerned purely with the techniques necessary for this style of electric guitar playing, such as bends, slides and, of the utmost importance, the finger vibrato.
